Linksys/Netgear router

My Vonage is hooked up with my DSL service and everything works well except.... I can't remotely connect. The Linksys router (Vonage) is connected to one of the ports on the Netgear router. The NetGear router is connected to the DSL modem. I can use the STD IP address to connect to the LinkSys router since I have the NetGear router in line. Something is blocking port 3389 and I KNOW it isn't the netgear router NOR the XP firewall and susspect it is the Linksys router. How do I get to the Linksys router to open that port?

if you connect your computer directly to the Vonage router and get into its web configuration, you should be able enable its remote administration. It is in that page that you should be able to designate which port to use. In most cases, it's port 80 but I believe you can specify which port you want to use.
