You know, things have been great until that Voice Mail outage a few weeks ago. I have noticed more often a loss (dropped packets) than usual beyond my ISP using PingPlotter. Any one from VONAGE CS on here have any input? Seems that every call I make or is made to me, we hear the other party say "where did ya go"? and within 10 seconds everything comes back. This drives me totally crazy. |

Sounds like the same problem I have been having, but its been happening to me since October when I first signed up. Doesn't always happen, but happens enough that I am about to cancel service if we can't get it resolved. Although they have been nice, no Vonage CSR has been any real help. I have another post detailing my problems, maybe Vonage will hear about this issue enough and figure out how to get it fixed. |

This is inherent with this technology. Until Vonage can build their own backbone with their own servers. It will be hard for them to do any good with customer support. Because the network they ride on is owned by various other ISP's, they cannot fix their servers. But less Customer Support only makes it worse. Marketing is everything with this company. But you get what you pay for. And most of the time, it is ok. |
