Post subject: New WRT54GX2 firmware(fixes for VOIP)...
New firmware released(1.01.14) that sems to address the
Voip
issues people had.
Quote:
1. Fixed connectivity with PAP2 device.
2. Fixed PPPoE connectivity with Belgacom in Europe.
3. Fixed the help file.
4. Fixed MAC compatibility on Some web interface.
5. Fixed PPPoE with connectivity with T-Online.
6. Fixed voice function with some
Voip
products.
7. Fixed Voice feature on some game console.
8. Fixed TCP and UDP access restriction funcion when used at the same time.
I have a GX4 so I can't test it but I know many people have had issues with this device so hopefully this is the fix people have been waiting for(hopefully the GX4 fixes won't be far behind, as it has similar issues).

Post subject: New firmware 1.01.14 does not fix WRT54GX2 choppy calls
I installed the new 1.01.14 firmware on the WRT54GX2 over the weekend and enabled the firewall. I still get the same choppy call with every other word being dropped. I shut the firewall off again, and the call smoothed out.
Sadly, the fix has not been properly id'd yet.
