No Voicemail Notification after system restored

Post subject: No Voicemail Notification after system restored
New to
Vonage
. Doing some testing. Have VTech 8100 system. I have no network availability number entered as I want calls to go to
Vonage
voicemail if network is out.
I unplug the 8100 base unit, call my
Vonage
number, am switched over to voicmail and leave a message - so far, so good.
I re-enable the 8100 system and it is back on line sending and receiving calls. The voicemail I left when the system was down shows in my dashboard and an email has been forwarded as also set up. Also, can retrieve message with *123. However, neither the base nor handsets indicate a voicemail waiting. Looks like when I restore the system, it doesn't get a voicemail notification for any voicemails left while the system was offline. Does that sound right? - Frank
