that happened way before .60 for me (may have started when I had the rt31p2 still). never have figured out why it changed. assumed it was a Vonage thing.

Incoming CallerID info isn't generated by the adapter itself; this information is sent by Vonage and the adapter merely translates what it's told to your telephone's caller ID circuitry.

Well the firmware seems to work all right, the only thing I've noticed is that the caller ID on my dish network will no longer display the incoming call whats so ever. (I've reset everything on my side as well) It worked great with 1.00.58. Guess you have to give something up for improvment. Sad

Hmm... how is your Dish receiver connected to Vonage? I'm assuming it's using some sort of inside wiring?

I'm still willing to bet that the issue is in the inside wiring. Wiring DOES go bad (or more properly put, bad things happen to wires), whether it be an errant nail, wire that was stretched/bent too much when installed, rodents going for some of those copper vitamins, or even bad connections. I (embarassingly) have had to re-do Cat 3 & Cat5 connections that just didn't hold up or were botched when installed originally. They ran fine for many years but finally gave up the ghost. If at all possible, try going directly to the Vonage adapter and see if it still happens.

There's a bit of difference between a regular phone call and Caller ID, with the latter being more dependent on receiving the proper voltages.

Take a look at this post: http://www.vonage-forum.com/ftopic11625-0-asc-10.html

The poster had trouble with Caller ID but nothing else... sure enough, fixing the wiring actually made a difference.

I just got on Vonage and received a RTP300 with 1.00.52 firmware. I wonder if its going to update to the 1.00.60 version or am I going to have to wait until they roll out the next firmware version?
