Like the subject says, only phone1 works. When I plug any phone into phone2, I get a recording stating that I'm plugged into the wrong phone jack. I thought both phone jacks were operational. If I can only use phone1, can I use a Tee/splitter to plug in 2 phones? Some additional info:
Firmware 1.00.58
Rebooted modem, still only have phone1 available.
Thanks in advance for any help! |

Jack two is for a second line. If you want two phones, you'll need a splitter. |

A splitter works. Or you can run your phones in series. ie; phone router ->1st phone -> 2nd phone -> 3rd phone, etc.
I'm not sure of the limit but I have the motorola connected to a Vtech phone base, out to a fax machine, and out to another cordless phone. Works fine. |
