I currently have Vonage working fine using Linksys WRTP54G over a cable modem network. Moving next month to an area where I will have Verizon FIOS as my broadband. Understand they require you to use their dlink (wired or wireless) router. So what exactly is the config hookup to use my Vonage? I assume - CPE to Verizons Dlink wireless where all my computers will get their Internet cx from, then a hardwire connection from the Dlink to my WRTP54G where I will plug my phone into and get Vonage from? Let me know if this is the optimal setup - I guess I will turn off wireless on my WRTP54G since the Dlink will be handling my home network traffic.
