have been trying for 7 days to cancel my Vonage service but NO ONE at Vonage will help me. I have talked to customer care several times and have also sent emails but the only response I get is that some one will call me back to assist me but no one ever does. I am at a complete loss and am totally frustrated. Can anyone assist me with the issue? Vonage customer service is impossible to work with |

account management is backed up at the moment, current policy is to arrange for a callback. don't sweat it, your account will be terminated effective the day of your first attempt. if your worried about getting charged again, simply change your credit card info on your dashboard so it won't process. other then that, just sit tight, they will call you. |

jlrbeans, if you have not already, would you post the reason(s) for cancelling Vonage? |

Agreed. I'd also love to know why you are leaving Vonage. Grant it that I'm satisfied with Vonage service (thats right, not to be confused with Vonage CUSTOMER service). But I CAN very well see a LOT of people being fed up and frustrated with Vonage.
Please do tell us. |

I'm happy with my Vonage service so far... but, I am tempted to cancel it for fear that I may need their Customer Service someday, and I am not looking forward to wasting the time. It seems to me from all the sentiment that I've read here and elsewhere, that Vonage is a company that's being driven into the ground. I wish it wasn't so. |

You see, that's the problem with this forum. All you read about is the bad. Nobody comes forward and says, "Hey, I called CS and it was a good experience." All anybody does here really is complain.
Having said all of that I will admit that I'm a bit troubled by my experience with CS, but then again I'm very picky when it comes to how a CSR should behave when talking to a customer.
I think that if you have a problem that needs CS and you don't get the response you like you have the option of posting for a solution on this board or even pm one of the members who are a CSR for help.
I just noticed on another thread someone posted the CEO's number. I'll bet putting a call on that voice mail would get results. |
