Post subject: Beeping, voicemail & other problems
Is there anything that can solve the beeping problem? My friends say that there is a loud beep every few minutes.
Twice I've had voicemails that were two weeks old before I heard the stutter tone. I normally use my answering machine so I only use voicemail when I'm on another call. One of those calls was an important call and I know that I never got the call coming in while I was on the phone.
Third problem that started lately and is happening quite a bit. I will get a phone call. The person can hear me answer but I can't hear anyone on the line.
Also has anyone noticed that the caller ID dosn't work with other

customers?

That beep has been going on for over 2 years with me, sometimes its every 5 minutes or so and at time it does'nt happen at all.
I've yet to here any solution or why its happening.

all of your problems are well known and well documented. of course there's no solution to any of them, but you are far from the first. millionth and first maybe.
1: dtmf recognition issue.
Vonage
device thinks you pressed a button because of the tone of the persons voice and replicates the beep for it.
2. seems to be happening more to new customers. keep a check on the voicemail part of the dashboard once a day until it clears up.
3. read the post that's been at the top of this forum for a long long time and save us all time and effort to have to write "check the top post of this forum" over and over again.
4. yep, it only displays the number...twice.
