I am starting to see it working intermittently. It will work once, then not again...at least it's progress. |

The outage message from Vonage as says this:
"At this time customers may experience an issue retrieving their voicemail when dialing local access number or *123. Our engineers are aware of the issues and are working to resolve it as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
That may be true but is not exposing the more important issue which is that incoming calls are dropping instead of being answered by VM. Customers have NO way to know this unless they either test or Vonage tells is. That's what Vonage must do until it fixes the problem.
Will post more on this at blog.tomevslin.com to help inform other users know that forum members have confirmed that this widespread. |

No VM in IL either. I can't even check the one msg I do have from the web. Like the others here I don't recommend Vonage and am considering switching because their customer service is non-existent. I hear with AT&T your outbound caller ID displays.... it might be worth the extra $5 to deal with a company that has customer service in place already. |

The VM problem appears to be fixed. is anyone still experiencing it?
Would be helpful if Vonage would communicate with its customers - at least here but better more publicly - on the extent and duration of the problem which resulted in calls being dropped rather than going to email. This is important because subscribers need to know when people had no way to reach them and may have tried, for example, to return a call but been unable to. |

YES!! My voicemail light is still on on my phone. I call in and am told there is a voicemail so I hit 1, 1 to listen to it and nothing plays back. I cannot delete anything. No response. I check my Dashboard and nothing there either.
This is posted in my dashboard 1/21 a.m.:

My light was flashing too and I reset it following the phone directions. I have a Fanstel ST-218B and it can do that. Mine said to press the delete key when the message waiting was on the LCD. Worked.
BTW - It's Saturday AM (1/21). The post dates are not correct. |

If you would answer the phone you wouldn't have a problem!

New user here, a little over a week and now this?
I called tech support with a question after I first set up the router last week and got a rep that could not speak english well at all. I mean VERY bad english. He finally sent me to the next level and the american tech answered my question in a few seconds.
Is this the norm? |

You probably need to go into Your Account - Your Info and set your Forums Timezone properly. |
