Anybody else notice Circuit City is Advertising the Linksys PAP2 Phone Adapter for $59.99 and mail-in rebates of $125.00, leaving a profit of $65.01, and a free phone adapter?

doubtful -- the rebate form seems to be for any of the several adapters shown, which are all of varying prices. i'd bet somewhere in the fine-print it lists something like "amount of rebate limited to price of purchase" or something like that. although, looking at the form, that text could very well be there as the fine print is so small it's almost impossible to read it in entirety.

Just zoomed in on the image on the Circuit City page, and it LOOKS legit.

The disclaimer stuff is all the complex stuff about when you have to submit it (no less than 30 days after retail activation, account must be active for so many days, 911 isn't the same as regular 911, etc etc ad nauseum. But the $100 is the only number, and the form clearly states that the $100 is for any of the devices. No ambiguity or lawyer weaselspeak I can see.

The $25 is a Curcuit City deal.

I'm not a lawyer and I don't play one on TV, so check the form in person. That's a MISERABLE scan they have online. But I think it's legit as legit gets.

It only requires 60 days of service activation (activated within 15 days of adapter purchase) and is not limited by the amount of the product cost. $100 Vonage rebate and a $25 CC rebate.
