I think it would be considered insider trading even if we did know about it and told details. I don't feel like going to a federal pound you in the rump prison Maybe others who do not mind could give details.  |

the stock isn't publicly traded yet - you have to work here for a year to be able to buy stock. |

I think you have to be an "insider" (and a 'manager / board member' of the company) before it's called "insider trading". Two "joe blows" discussing stocks won't land you any time in any ass pounding prison. |

Your position (or lack thereof) in the company has no direct bearing. The issue is whether you have access to , and act on, information not generally available to the public, resulting in you having an unfair advantage in dealing with other stock traders. |
