Does anyone know how to change the local Ip 192.168.15.1. on RTP300. when i assign a new one it freezes and then i cant log into the router as 192.168.15.1 or the new assigned one, which leads to resetting the router again.

As far as I know, you can't change it. The only one you can change is the WAN ip, which, depending on how you have your network setup, is the only one you need to change.
I had the same frustrating time trying to get it to work. But, since Vonage updates the router themselves, there really isn't any reason for me to go in, my primary router handles all my DHCP, QoS etc...

Bro - stop sniffing glue before you post.
You can change the local (LAN side) IP address by logging into the router's UI. This needs to be done if you have more than one device because you can't have a duplicate IP address on your network, and Vonage Linksys devices by default are 192.168.15.1
You can change the WAN ip address by setting it statically, but if your primary router handles DHCP and everything else you shouldn't need to.
When you change the IP address on the local side, that your PC is connected to, you need to close your browser window, because the page 192.168.15.1 is no longer there. If the address was successfully changed, also you may need to restart your PC or release/renew because now your default gateway is going to be different as well. |

Once you've changed the IP address, you need to log into that IP address, not the old one!
