I have a new RTP 300. It is connected downstream from a Linksys Wireless-G Cable Gateway.

I am getting crystal clear phone reception. But the default IP address 192.168.15.1 comes up nada.

"Sorry, no information is available for the URL 192.168.15.1"

When I try it again, I get the "Cannot Find Server" screen.

Is your computer plugged directly into it? If not, do you have your routers comfigured to go between networks?

You need to have the phone adapter after the modem to access that URL directly or have the port forwarding enabled/.

Thank you. Running the PC out from the RTP did the trick.

But now, the reason I wanted to go in there in the first place...

The RTP came configured for one of my Vonage nos. (I have several, with things cross-forwarded, etc. Very confusing.)

Anyhow, I want to tell the phone line no. 2 of the RTP 300 to ring a Vonage number that is currently ringing on a separate phone adapter.

I think customer service might need to do that, since you want to associate a phone number to a specific device that's it currently not associated with. Was this by chance an Ebay buy?

Edit: Of course it wasn't an Ebay buy, you said it was configured with a number for you. Embarassed

Man...You're fast! No. It came from Vonage, but when I ordered it for the new line I didn't think to tell them that I wanted to it to ring two lines.
