Hey All, I've made many a call to Vonage over issues I've had. I finally connected with a very good Tech in thier support center (His name is Claude). Here is some good basic information that may help you in determining your problem. ___________________________________________________________
MTA VT1000 Boot Procedure (Light Sequence) -Light flashes once, then pause =Powering up
-Light flashes twice, then pause = Requesting IP address (from Router or ISP, depending on your configuration)
-Light flashes three times, then pause = Obtaining configuration information from Vonage Servers
-Light flashes four times, then pause = registering with Vonage Service
-Rapid blinking - Firmware is being uploaded from Vonage ___________________________________________________________
Port Use Descriptions
Port 69 = Firmware uploads through this port
Ports 5060 - 5063 = MTA gets Ringtone and Dialtone (only one port needed per MTA on your network
Port 123 - Server Timing Synchronization and Debug port.
Ports 10000-20000 Incoming Voice Ports __________________________________________________________
Maybe its helpful, maybe it's useless. I just thought I'd share it with you.
