I am getting my papers together to send in the rebate and it askes for the UPC code on the packaging, which I get. But then it also says to send in the proof of purchase from the packaging. Does anyone know what or where that is? I have purchases the PAP2 from Circuit City. I acn only assume it is someplace inside the packaging becasue I don't see it anywhere on the box.

Thanks!

My wife called Vonage on this. According to the rep she spoke to the "Proof of Purchase" is not necessary. Apparently it doesn't exist. We were told to go ahead in mail in our rebate without it.

I called last night and was told by the rep that instead of the proof of purchase symbol that we are to send in the original MAC bar code from the package. so to be safe I would send it in if I was you. better safe than no rebate.

I should clarify that I called the rebate center and not Vonage and was told to send the MAC barcode for the proof of purchase.

Sigh...another sign of the quality of Vonage Customer Service...Which I find not to be so great.

In any case from what I've read in these threads don't count on getting your rebate too soon. I've read some folks it took a year.

I photo copied the MAC number on the side of the box and the UPC bar code thing, so that I would have a copy just in case. I kept the photocpies and sent in I sent in both the UPC Code and MAC thing and got my refund in about 5 months.

My wife says she both photo copied and wrote in the mac number.

She also sent a picture of our first bird and some egg shells from when she laid some eggs one time....

JUST KIDDING!!!! Very Happy

Anyway, 5 months is a long time for a rebate to come but like I said earlier I've heard some say a year. I won't be running out to the mail box daily. Smile
