I'm jumping in just to add another possible cause.
It's not unheard of for the cable company to do a new install in your area and mess up your connection. Sometimes the don;t get the termination right, and sometimes they just end up adding too many connections and saturate you section of the wire.
If your cable modem has activity lights on it, and they look quiet when you aren't surfing of on the phone, then I'd suspect that it's a problem with the service and very likely just outside your home.
Do any digging lately? Maybe a line got nicked. Are your outside connections dry? Well covered? Grounded? |

Hey, thanks for posting this. I gave this a try and scored a whopping 4.3. Not perfect, but not bad.
I'll try it again at other points during the day. I'm really getting some great info here! |
