Hello all,
I experiencing a problem wherein I enter a number, click dial, can hear the number being dialed (sometimes repeatedly) and then once the line is connected or "operational" there's no audio or communication. I'm using the SJ Labs interface with my Vonage Softphone acct. Any ideas what I can do abou this?
Best Regards, Scott |

Had this with my new softphone.
After much work, turned off my Zone Alarm firewall and everything was fine! Even though set access to internet etc. for Xten, only worked with Zone Alarm off!
Also needed to call other than my home Vonage number from laptop at home! Altough wireless laptop not going through Vonage box, would not work - apparently Vonage may not be accepting Softphone + Vonage from same IP number!
Wonder what happens in hotel, etc. with one person using the Vonage box and another softphone. Would it work since both get routed through hotel IP number?
thanks

If this helps, I'll relate my testing:
SJLabs softphone on my Axim Handheld, via my wireless connection at home. RT31P2 on my wired network with main number. Vonage Softphone on my PC.
Test 1: Was able to simultaneously login via my Axim and PC into the softphones.
Test 2: Called my primary RT31P2 number from my Axim, and at the same time called that number from my PC softphone. The Axim rang through, and the PC softphone went to voicemail. |
