Hey ... I just got Vonage and like it ...was wondering where I could download SoftPhone and is there addition cost or hardware regarding SoftPhone?

There is no hardware. There is a $10 setup fee to open the number, and a monthly charge. No fee for disconnect.
Vonage ofers an XTen product on their site, but I prefer to use SJLabs softphone: http://www.sjlabs.com/sjp.htmlhttp://www.sjlabs.com/sjp.html Get the custom version for Vonage. It will not work with your main account info; you need to sign up for softphone. The softphone password will then be found on the softphone config page.

Too bad Vonage is joining the greed community. I can sign up for Skype for $10 a month saving me any Vonage fees. When I get my iPhone I'll move to Skype.
