Every now and then I can hear a loud echo of my voice.. It's very disturbing. The party on the other end can't hear it. What's causing this feedback?? Many thanks. Pap 2 adapter.

I find this happens at times too, often when I am calling someone's cell phone. Sometimes the person I'm calling has the volume up so loud on their phone that I'm actually hearing my own voice coming out of their earpiece and then being picked up on their handset's microphone.
One time I had a cell phone that I had to have turned up pretty loud to hear when I was in my car... And I would often get complaints from other people that they heard an echo. When I turned the volume down on my cell phone, they said the echo went away.
Next time it happens, ask if the person on the other end can turn the volume down a bit on their phone, and see if that helps.
This may not be the explanation in your case, but I have found it to be true in my case much of the time.
I just joined Vonage a couple of days ago and have been testing the sound quality. I have experienced an echo on some calls. The person on the other end doesn't hear it just me and the echo is of my own voice. I was wondering if this is a common problem with Vonage.
