Things must have changed DRAMATICALLY because both of my Verizon numbers were ported over in exactly 7 days, with absolutely no problems. Honestly, even the Vonage rep was surprised it went that fast, |

I live in Kentucky and Vonage LNP service is horrible. This is my second attempt at making Vonage service work for me. The first time I killed the service because I could never get a dial tone after two weeks of trying. I signed up again in early October. I have a fax line and it has worked from the beginning because it was not ported. My primary number which I have attempted to port has been another story.
After repeated escalations I never get a straight answer and you can never talk to a manager. I have wriiten to the CEO and probaly will not get a response. If my line is not ported by February 27, 2005, I will file complaints with the FCC, our public service commission and Kentucky' Attorney General's office. Companies like this that provide such lousy service do not deserve to be in business.
October 11, 2005 Awaiting Letter of Authorization October 26, 2005 Letter of Authorization (LOA) Received October 26, 2005 Transfer Sent to Carrier As of this date February 13, the number still isn't ported and not a single entry to my online profile after numerous escalations and emails. Gary |
