I have had a problem with calls that have no audio and calls going directly to voicemail. I called Vonage 3 times with no help. My old configuration was Cable modem-USR Router(wireless)-RT31p2 router with Vonage. I was told by there techs to switch it to cable modem-vonage router(RT31p2)-usr router. I have a very very slow internet response from the linksys router, I go to the command prompt and ping common sites like, yahoo, google, and get half the packets lost that were sent. I connect the computer directly to the cable modem and do the same thing with no loss of packets and much faster response. Also the download from the web is very slow when you have it hooked to the linksys. I have looked at the site and not found this particular problem listed. My theory is that if the linksys has this much trouble with internet sites, that would relate to poor phone services because of packet loss. Just so you know I have roadrunner in Kansas City, Missouri and I conducted a test at the site that tests for internet phone and I scored a 4.0. I have changed the mtu to 1492 and that has not seemed to help. Changed the Qos settings and made http a priority and that did not help either. Can anyone help me I'm at wits end. |

sounds like you've probably changed some settings on the rt31p2 before and maybe recently with the network setup. I'd try a factory reset just for fun. also, are any of your computers hardwired to the rt31p2 or do they all go through the other router? |

Already done a factory reset, does not help the problem. |

I hard wired my laptop temporally to the rp31p2 just to get to the setup, but I found that there was very slow internet response. After i configured the router I was going to hook up the usr wireless router to one of the ports on the linksys and be done. But due to the slow internet and ping response I have not hooked the setup back up at all until I find out what the problem is. |

If you go back to your original setup with the wireless router first and the Vonage router second, and plug your computer into the wireless, do you then get good internet connectivity? |

Given that, and given that you've tried a factory reset as suggested by Reebok, my guess is that the adapter is developing a problem. I'd get back with customer service, pass on this information, and try to get the problem elevated.
Reebok- Your opinion? |
