Hi there, it's 7:12 p.m on the West Coast, and as of this moment I've been on hold for 85 minutes - almost an hour and a half - with Vonage Customer Service. I'm switching from the RT31P2 router to the WRT54G wireless router / PAP2 phone adapter combination, and apparently Vonage Customer Service needs to transfer the MAC ID of the router/adapter. I amazed that for a techology company, there isn't a simple way to do so online.
How long are the average customer hold times for phone customer service these days? |

There is. Vonage.com > Click on "Already Bought Your Box? Retail Activation" button on the right side of the page. Select Current Customer Login, enter your username and password, MAC address of the new device, and which line(s) to move over. Disconnect old device. Connect new device. Viola. |
