I have not been able to get voicemail for over a week. I got a ticket last Friday and was told I would be contacted in 24 hrs, which did not happen. I called today and the person told me over 1/2 the users are not able to get voicemail.

Can anyone shed light?

Most likely the service agent who made the ticket had an end of the work week so it got put back in the que OR your issue is still being investigated. If you got a ticket I would suggest calling into us and asking the status on the ticket. Be polite as some of these issues can take time.

I thought that is what I did yesterday. The CSR put me on hold and after a few minutes came back and said that half of the Vonage user base was experiencing my problem. Which is why I posted here with scant details. He told me there was a service announcement on the Dashboard. I could not get in there all day yesterday, but got in this morning and there is no Service Announcement. For the record my problem(s) are:

1. Stutter tone indicates I have a message. Dashboard and *123 indicate otherwise. Yes I know there is a thread on this and I have read it through, including your latest post about a fix, however:

2. When I call to leave a test message I get my greeting and I send my message but it never shows up on the Dashboard or *123.

If half the users are suffering from this problem I am happy to sit back and wait, but there does not seem to be mention of here, which seems statistically anomolous.

I have been having some issues with voicemail too. Mainly I have been seeing that when i do get a VM and i pick up the phone i do not get the broken dial tone indicator. But when I hit a #123 or check my email i do have a VM. Thats been going on for a good couple of weeks

Today my stutter tone / message waiting signal will not clear even though all voice mails have been deleted according to the web page. I hadn't experienced this problem previously. I have RTP300 with 1.58 firmware.

Mine was doing that and I had thought I had deleted my voicemail then I noticed the drop down box In the voicemail section and it was in the trash, so I had to delete it from there also...

I wish some of these solutions worked for me. All my voicemail folders are empty and I still get the stutter tone. When I leave myself a message I never get a message in the inbox, even though my greeting plays. I have called 3 times now and keep being told this is a general problem. I don't get it. No one here seems to have this issue, which is just odd for such a widespread problem.

That was not my problem. Message was deleted via *123 and was gone. I called customer support and the rep in India did something that apparently corrected the problem. She called and left a test message which I deleted via *123. This time the stutter tone shut off accordingly. I asked her if the problem would recur. She replied, "No sir. It will not recur."

It's nIce that I still have a separate POTS line so I can speak to Vonage customer support on it while they troubleshoot my Vonage line. Neutral

I have a similar issue. My voicemail works via the phone, as I get the stutter and can dial *123 to get my test messages. However, I have yet been able to see my voicemails in the dashboard and do not receive the email with attachments as I have configured. I am new to Vonage, so I was chalking this up somehow to my virtual number settings and my LNP not having been completed, but my attempts to get customer service to respond and confirm this has not been successful. I have tried the suggestions on previous posts of turning off email notification and turning it back on, but I am still not notified by anything other than my phone when I pick it up.

After reading these posts, I guess I should be fortunate that I can get voicemail at all. Anyway, I thought I would add my experience to the mix...

I seem to be having similar problems to some of the ones described above. I.e., I have voice mail via the phone line, the "blinking" dial tone works, it emails me the voice mails when I get them, but when I go to the web page to the voice mail section, the voice mails are not listed. Getting voice mails on the web was one of the big reasons for switching to Vonage. I've called technical support several times, and they say that this is a known problem, but its been several weeks now (and several phone calls). If they don't switch soon, or at least give me information more than some guy just saying it is a known problem (which doesn't help if it isn't fixed), I'll switch to some other Voip system.
