I even requested a new password, think maybe that's what got hosed. The new password doesn't even work.

Yeah, if you keep hammering it then it locks you out for 15 minutes. And if you keep trying during those 15 minutes I suspect it just continues on for eternity. I'd try giving it some time and trying the new password. If that doesn't work, give it some more time and try the old password. I just logged on again with no problems so I think the web server is probably healthy again.

Finally got in. It was a cache issue (Why do their dynamic pages cache???)

Anyway. So far I've been highly frustrated with the service. They have a month. If things don't start looking better by then, I'm gone. At the moment, I'm not seeing any of this as much better than soupcan and string.

I would like to say thanks to whoever set up this forum. Great place to vent, and it was nice to talk to other people with similar problems. Some of the advice here definitely helped.

I am curious, though... Does Vonage support the use of all their logos and branding on this site? Do they sponsor the site? Aside from the great forum, the rest of the site seems like it's pimping for Vonage. Just curious...

Hmm... can't access it inside Firefox (will clear the cache later), but was able to pull it up in IE. Interesting 'though, as it shows the last incoming call to me at 5:04pm ET....it's now 2:39 AM and it's not posted any more recent calls to it.

Still unacceptable in my book. I think what's happened is that Vonage started off with the right idea...but what was a good idea became an ever-growing monster and they didn't have the plans in place to handle such growth. That said, if they've not started yet...NOW would be a good time to look at managing growth, especially with the cable cos joining the Voip biz

It's in yellow status so you should be able to get in.

I do not work for Vonage. I do not own Linksys stock, but some of you folk whine too much. It is very annoying when service goes down for a couple of hours. I run my business off my Vonage phone, I know how it goes. It also is annoying when the Dashboard goes down, But I get the feeling that some of you sit at your computers all day long staring at the Vonage page, and checking your Dashboard over and over again! Friends, we are first adopters. Expect problems. Also, Vonage is merely a tool, not a lifestyle decision. Even with the various problems, I have never lost complete service for more than a couple of hours. Yeah, it took them 5 months to send me my rebate check, and I wish there was ACR, and text in outgoing caller ID, and I wish I could switch my virtual number with my main number so it becomes the outgoing caller ID number, but other than that, service has been pretty good.

Anybody know if any of the other Voip services out there have similar issues such as this? There are a few alternatives out there if you still wanted Voip. Anybody have any friends on any of the VoIPs out there who have similar issues??

I think it's kind of funny that the "Vonage Service Status" on the left side of the forum mentions nothing about the dashboard being down (I just tried to log in) but instead it tries to sell you more lines!
