What happens when you try to access the settings by going to that address?

What message do you get?

I had the same issue. Only thing I could do to set up the adapter initially was plug an ethernet cable from whatever computer directly into the RTP300. I then set it to a static IP and also enabled remote access. From my "front router", I forwarded port 8080 of the static IP that I gave the RTP300 and that allowed me to remotely access my RTP300 from any computer on my network: in the address bar of any browser, go to http:(static ip):8080 and you should get the log in screen of the RTP300.

hope this helps.

i even tried changing the static IP and the gateway IP to 192.168.15.2 and 192.168.15.1 respectively .. and tried that too didn't help....

Idea any other ideas????

That wouldn't.

In order to access your Vonage router, you need to plug into one of the LAN ports, not the WAN port. From there, you make sure the device is giving you an IP address (IPCONFIG /ALL) or assign yourself one manually in the 192.168.15.x range where "x" is any number but "1" ("10" would be a good number).

Then, if the LAN ports on the Vonage router are up and running, you should be able to access the router.

don't connect the ethernet cable to the internet port of the phone adapter, just plug it into one of the regular ethernet ports. that is how i was able to access the config screen.

Sad tried that too ...

1. I disconnected the power from the RTP300 router

2. then changed the IP to 192.168.15.10 and the gateway to 192.168.15.1

3. plugged in the power to the router

4. in the iE typed in http://192.168.15.1:8080

5. got the same error... cannot find server "The page cannot be displayed"

Sad Help please!!

Did you try typing 192.168.15.10:8080 into IE?

I'm a bit confused. In step one you say you unplugged power from the router. In step 2 you say you configured the router. And then in step 3 you say you plugged in power to the router. How were you able to configure it with no power? Or are you configuring a different router at the same time?
