Never mind. I called from my SImulring number so it went right to voicemail, of course. I called from another line and it's working fine. |

My ISP is BellSouth by the way.
Everything seems to be working at the moment but nothing worked for most of the day. I did get through once this morning and so far it's been working since about 5:30. I am back in town an no longer forwarding calls. I am hopeful the worst is behind me. I am curious to see how it will work tomorrow during peak hours. More to come...
Thanks everyone for your posts! |

Last week, I had the identical problem. I could call out from my Vonage phone, but it was not receiving in-coming calls. I called the tech support people, and the guy I was talking to received a notification about the problem while I was on the phone with him. He was polite, even if he did not have an immediate solution to the problem. The problem, whatever it was, was solved within a few hours. |

for the last few weeks I have been experiencing SERIOUS problems with my service to the point of rebooting the PAP-2 4-5 times a DAY. I can call out fine but incoming calls either go directly to voicemail, can't hear me or are completely uninteligible. I have checked my cisco router and my internet connection and there are NO ERRORS or delays on either direction also I get no problems with ANY other application in my network including Voip calls using my cisco call manager express or my Asterisk PBX. my conclusion is that the problem is with Vonage even though they REFUSE to accept it. I am going to give Vonage a couple of days to FIX this or at least recognize that they have a problem or I am switching back to POTS lines. |

yeah, calls going right to my network availability number. however, i can connect to my server at home so it's probably not an isp issue. i'm sure i'll have that red light waiting for me! again... |
