Post subject: Voicemail Email Notification broken?
I am a new
Vonage
customer... I signed up on Friday.
I have not been able to get the Voicemail Email Notification to work properly. I do get an email when a voicemail is received. The problmem is that the notification that is made does not match the setting on the web page. The email is always delivered to the email address that I gave
Vonage
when I signed up. I changed he email address on the web and the notification still goes to the old email address. I have also set the notification to send the email attachment, but I do not receive email attachments.
Is this a "known" problem? Is there a fix? I see no notification that this is an issue on the Dashboard "Service Announcements". I called
Vonage
to ask about the problem and they did not seem to know (or understand) what I was talking about.
So far, I am not getting a good feeling about
Vonage
.
