Thats right..A Windows Media Center Plug-in that works with the extender to show caller-id on your TV and other information.

Yep - this is exactly the sort of thing I want for my MCE. It just seems such an obvious move to combine the power of MCE and something like Vonage that I'm surprised no one has done anything about it yet!
Even just the ability to access the Vonage web front-end (i.e. no onscreen call answering) would be good!
Is there a Vonage API ? |

I am looking for software to interface vonage and I'm very surpirsed that with such a large community there are no projects available.
I love that skype intergration for MCE! That would be fantastic for vonage.
Please,... where is the vonage API found?
Does anyone know where I can find software other than click2call for vonage?? |

There's Windows software available that makes and receives calls on Vonage. You get it when you sign up for softphone. There are alternatives you can use too, even one for Windows Mobile, but you still need a softphone account for the extra $10/month. You can start sending and receiving Vonage calls on your MCE TV now, and it would have it's own phone number...only problem is the interface. Someone should make a nice MCE interface for it. |
