On my computer, my internet connection drops in and out. It is quite annying. I think that it is affecting my Vonage service as well. It doesn't seem to have this problem if my computer is the only thing connected.

I have comcast cable for my internet connection. My setup looks like:

(cable) --> (cable modem) -> Linksys router RT31P2 --> DLink DI-624 (wireless router) --> Computer 1 & Computer 2

Any suggestions?

You should really start by publishing the information listed here: http://www.vonage-forum.com/ftopic7191.html . In the meanwhile, do you have the same problem when the RT31P2 is removed from the setup? Do you have the same problem if a computer is plugged directly into the RT?

Are your computers currently using the wireless link? If so, are there any 2.4 GHz telephones in your setup? Is there any correlation between your use of your Vonage phone and the dropped internet connections?

Have you tried re-booting everything, powering up in the correct order- modem, RT, DI, computers?

I personally agree with this. D-Link **** in my experience, especially in terms of its wireless client cards.

Always try your Vonage router with it before anything else before the network. Then see if you get the same issue. Many third party routers will plauge our routers due to the firewalls.

I don't know. I have heard mixed things about D-LINK, more people have better luck with it then others.

Don't ever get a Microsoft, never want to experience that again...

I didnt mean D-Link was bad. It is linksys. Linksys uses a Texas Instruments chipset when it comes to thier Voip products, and it is very very very buggy. The only device that does not use this chipset is the Motorola MTA which I would reccomend to EVERYONE, however they are currently SOLD OUT

Um, I'm pretty sure the rt31p2, pap2, and ATA-186 don't have the TI chipset.
