Anyone getting this? I have no VMs per the website and none when I go through the phone. Odd.

Me too. My VMI is also on and won't turn off.

This has been an intermittent problem since .58. I've read that they're having a ton of problems now, so it may be a matter of waiting until they get around to fixing the problem.

The good news is that the CID problem appears to have been solved.

Common solution seems to be calling, then when you are done with the "no voice mails" prompts, press star (*). That will disconnect you from Voicemail. Be sure to listen to the whole "thanks for calling. goodbye." and let the voicemail system hang up.

If that doesn't work, try restarting your Vonage device (yank power, wait 30 sec, plug back in).

If that doesn't work, well, do you have a local shop that sells owl pellets and chicken bones? 'cause there's this ritual... Wink

Seriously, I think they are moving some of the VM servers, so there may be issues. But the "*" trick seems to have worked for a few people according to some previous discussions today.

Yes, we have the same problem. I tried the suggested solutions which have worked in teh past before, but no joy.

I tried to contact customer service, but was on the phone for 15 min and hung up. The voicemail light has been on for 2 days now ... aghhh.

I got through to the tech support last night (twice). The first guy said he fixed it, and once I redialed *123 the stutter tone would stop. That didn't work.

The next guy said there were known issues with a voicemail server and it would be fixed within two hours. I woke up this morning (6 hours later) and I still have the VM tone.

Just thought I'd share.

I had the opposite problem: a VM signal that wouldn't go on. Try going into the dashboard, and turning off VM. Wait 10 mins and then turn it back on. See if that clears things up.

I have the same issue. The voicemail tone is always on. One thing that temporarily fixed the problem until you receive another voicemail is by disabling voicemail and then turning it back on. After you receive another voicemail and delete it the tone will be back. I have tried all the other solutions without any luck.

I really would like to have a solution for this because the voicemail is useless if you do not have a notification.

setup your dashboard to have a email notification sent to you whenever you have a email.. and forward it to your cellie Razz
