Post subject: LNP question
The line I'm switching to
Vonage
used to be an SBC Residential line. I had it re-classed to a business line. SBC did so. A week later, they threatened to cut the line off it they didn't recieve a business license for my company. I told them the State of Wisconsin requires no such license for my type of business. At least with the type of work I'm doing. I then had them switch the line back to residential. The phone bill I sent with my LOA was from the original residential line. (this all happened very fast) Needless to say this is why I'm happily getting rid of SBC. They are the devil incarnate.
Is it possible SBC will make problems for me? I know it's all the same phone number but I'm thinking that if they can put their policies over their customers, they will do so at any opportunity.
There seem to be some knowledgable people here concerning these issues.
PS.
Vonage
confirmed reciept of my LOA and they reviewed the paperwork and as far as they are concerned, everything is in order.

I guess it's certainly possible, but I've been given reassurances that SBC is not too bad about docs. when it comes to LNP.
I havent' submitted mine yet, because I'm in the "test" phase still!
