I work at Vonage. I will never release my name. I will not provide e-mail support either. This an independent site off of Vonage, as I am off duty so treat me as such , if you get attitude with me I will immediately stop talking to you and not help you. I am a regular person like you all, the only thing is I have inside knowledge and know everything you can throw at me. Do not take advantage. I am here to help not to have an attitude at.

hello, MY phone seems to drop the signal. I can hear the person I am talking to, but they can not hear me. That seems to happen frequently throughout the day. It will last about 30-40 seconds, then they can hear me again...what can I do about that? |

Can you tell me whether or not it is possible for Vonage to change/update the name that is displayed on caller ID when we make outgoing calls? When I call a friend who has caller ID it displays an old name that I want to change. Can I call Vonage to do this? |

all they can do is change it to nothing. or maybe they can change it to Vonage holdings. if it's a number you trnasferred, that name will disappear soon. |

Yes, it is a number I ported from Verizon. So I guess it will go away soon (as it suggests in the Caller ID manual). That's why I was a bit confused as to why a caller ID name even appeared. |

Quite true! Although that would be pretty awesome to call my friends and have that show up. |

The problem is the third party carrier who carries our number for the land lines refuses to change the outbound caller ID to anythin but "Unavailable" or "Unknown." or just make the name blank.
That's why we can't give anyone vanity caller ID. |
