What's very funny about that one year warranty, is even if it's up I still give them a replacement router.
That's how nice I am.
Some people don't appreciate that either.
Some agents are out for customers a lot of the time, look for them they will be there for you. If you take advantage that is immoral and not correct. |

got the pap2 today and everything is fine. as far as the rt31p2 it still functions as a router. that is why i believe that a firmware upgrade was the cause. firmware upgrades can go awry sometimes thats just the way it happens. the sad thing is that you can't get the older firmware from Vonage or from linksys. if i could find the older model firmware i would just reflash it. well live and learn i guess. pap2 was free anyway with the rebates hehe. |

Did you ever notice that the firmware version was actually upgraded? Did the version number change? |

Vonage is having problems w/registering returned rtrs back to its system. It's unfortunate, but most customers issued RA's who send the 'defective' rtr back within the specified time still get charged. Push the issue. Vonage is beginning to issue credits even w/o tracking numbers. |
