For at least the past hour or so, callers to my virtual number (in the 703 area code) have been receiving fast-busy signals most of the time. No voicemail and no ringing on my end. The occasional call does get through, at least in my testing, but certainly not all the time. Calls to my main number (in the 619 area code) seem to be working just fine.

Anyone else experiencing difficulties? Currently waiting in the queue for phone support, but did manage to get disconnected twice (once with a fast busy and once with an "all circuits are busy" message) while trying to get into the queue.

My primary number is in the 703 area and I have seen this problem all day when I try to call home. Sometimes I get "all circuits are busy", sometime a fast busy and occassionally I get through.

I thought this might be related to the 1.00.58 firmware upgrade and was planning to reboot my router when I get home, but now I'm not so sure.

I don't use the Linksys router, so in my case it's not at all related to that particular firmware upgrade.

If possible, I'd recommend submitting a trouble ticket so that they're aware of the problem and can get a better idea of what's going on.

I did end up speaking to first-tier tech support, but all they basically said was that they'd have to escalate the issue and I'd hear something back within 24 hours. I don't hold out much hope of that, as I've never had them call back for past problems.

After an hour on the phone (most of it on hold) - DC metro inc. B'More is down for incoming calls. ETA 24-48 hours per the rep.

It's an improvement. The rep I spoke to earlier seemed to think it was a problem with my adapter, which it clearly isn't.

I headed that off before it began. I politely said "because of the nature of the service tones callers are receiving, this clearly is a CLEC or interchange issue as opposed to my device." He said verbatim "wow, you know a lot for a customer."

I can tie my own shoes real good, too.

Well, this morning I had to call the house 3 times before I could hear my wife talking. The first 2 times I called, she could hear me but I couldn't hear her. The third time, we could hear each other but there was a lot of noise on the phone.

Looks like the 202/301/703 area code issues are not fixed yet, despite the lack of a service annoucement.

Can anyone else please post their findings here?
