The Skype service actually allows choosing a specific number from a list of available numbers. Why doesn't Vonage allow for this? Could it simply be LAZY COOKIE-CUTTER PROGRAMMING?? Evil or Very Mad

I'm pleased on how well my number porting worked on my primary number, but would enjoy it more if I can choose before I pay. It's also sad that if I want a virtual number changed, that the 9.99 fee applies. I apologize for being such a number hound, but that's the package I'm in, and I'm totally unapologetic for it.

I agree 100%, especially when you sign up for a business account and try to get a number that your customers will actually associate with your geographical area.

Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this?
