I have been with Vonage about a month now and I will never go back to a landline system. The only trouble I have really had with Vonage is when I tried to play with some settings. The old saying comes to mind "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", but I feel if there is a new box on my computer I for sure will fix it.
I have had to call Customer Support and yes I had to wait for a few minutes but the problem was quickly solved once a tech came online. for being about 1/3 of my normal phone bill, I don't mind at all.
I think a lot of problems people are having is when they are trying to switch their phone numbers, trust me, the telephone systems are in no hurry to take care of you once you are leaving them. |

Vonage rocks! I have been SBC free since February 12 and we are extremly happy with the service. My LNP was painless:
January 28, 2004 Awaiting Letter of Authorization January 29, 2004 Letter of Authorization (LOA) Received January 29, 2004 Transfer Sent to Carrier February 11, 2004 Carrier Approved Transfer February 12, 2004 Completed LNP Transfer
My only gripe is the current problem with the voice mail indicators and not having call bloking features. Besides that, everything works like a charm. |
