[font=Courier New] [/font] Howdie Folks, Good forum, congrats to all concered. Got a problem. I love the Vonage service. Use it at home for years..now at my new business too. I have two phone accounts and a third Fax a/c with Vonage. I have a Router and an adapter that I use with this service. I use a Linksys VoiP Wireless-G Router with two phone ports (first port use for my main number and the second for the fax number). The adapter uses my second number (which I use for Call Hunt feature). I have used the line coming out of the "fax port" ans split it to go to the fax machine (which works without any problem). The problem arises with the Credit Card processing terminal (Omni 3200 SE) which is hooked up to the splitter out of the "fax port". Now I just found out through the tech support on my Merchant Services that most CC Terminals(terminals) can not handle High-speed digital phone signal. Therefore I need to coem coem up with an Digital/Analog converter (also called Analog Adapter by some manufactures). I know Cisco used to put out ATA 186 (recently taken off the market). Now Linksys (which is a part of Cisco) also has a line of "adapters"; such as SPA-3000 (manfac. by Spiura- subsid. of Linksys) . Any ideas If i can use such an adapter to hook-up my CC terminal to the Phone port on Vonage VoIP Router?? Thanks to all the help.
