·  Can I Hear My Messages Online If I Have A Mac?

Yes.

Vonage Voicemail uses WAV files which should work with many audio applications, including Media Player and QuickTime.

The Voice Mail page should work with Safari, Firefox, and Internet Explorer, and most other browsers.

·  Can I change the order in which my voicemail messages are displayed?

No, voicemail messages are displayed in the order they are received, newest to oldest.

·  I forgot my Voicemail PIN. How do I get a new one?

If you forgot your Voicemail PIN, you can reset it on the main Voicemail page.

·  How can I personalize my Voicemail PIN?

You can personalize your PIN online or by telephone. Your new Voicemail PIN must consist of numbers only and be between 4 and 15 digits.

Online:
1. Log into the Voicemail section of your account.
2. Click on the Settings button.
3. Click the PIN link and follow the instructions.

By telephone:
Call your local access number and enter your mailbox number. Select "9", then "1" to modify your PIN.

·  What is my voice mail local access number?

From your Vonage telephone, you can simply dial *123 to access your voice mail. However, if you need to check your voicemail from another telephone, Vonage offers local access numbers in many parts of the world.

To get your local voicemail number, go to the Vonage home page, then click on "Features" and "Voicemail Plus". From there, you will be able to select your country, then your area code. Your local voicemail number(s) will be displayed.

When logging in to the local voicemail number, be sure to include the "1" in front of your telephone number (at least for US customers) when entering it.

·  What Happens If I Cannot Hear My Voice Messages Online?

To hear your voice messages online you need a media playback tool configured to play WAV files such as Windows Media Player, RealPlayer, WinAmp, QuickTime, Ultra Player, or Sonique.

There are many other tools that can also listen to WAV files. Many of these tools are free downloads.

·  Can I set the number of seconds the forwarded call will ring before Voicemail picks up?

Yes.

From the Voicemail page under your Vonage account, simply click on "Voicemail Settings." From there, you can change the number of seconds the phone will ring after it has forwarded to another number. The range is either instantly forward or 5 to 50 seconds in 5-second increments.

·  Why are my inbound calls not going to Voicemail and what can I do about it?

Typically, resetting your call forwarding and Voicemail solves this problem. In the event that this problem persists, Customer Care can easily resolve this issue.

·  How do I stop my calls from going to Voicemail?

When Voicemail is "Disabled", a call will ring until it is answered or the caller hangs up.

You can configure this feature by logging into your account, going to the Voicemail section, and selecting "Voicemail Options". From there, you may enable or disable Voicemail.

·  The time is wrong on my voicemails. Why?

Vonage displays the time the voicemail was received based on your selected time zone. If you are seeing an incorrect time on all of your voicemail messages, chances are you have the wrong time zone set up in your account.

To change the time zone, log in to your account, go to the Account page, click on Edit Account Information and select the desired time zone.

·  I keep hearing an odd dial tone when I pick up the phone. The dial tone turns on and off rapidly several times.

This is known as a "stutter tone" and is one of the ways your Vonage adapter informs you that you have voicemail.

If you hear the stutter tone and you do not have voice mail, try logging into your voicemail account (dial *123 and enter your PIN), and dialing "*" when the automated attendant answers, then hanging up. Wait a couple of minutes, and the stutter tone should clear.
