[font=Verdana] OK, I do not mean to be a conspiracy theorist, but did someone create the customer service system at Vonage to specifically torture people? I do not say this lightly, it has been an absurd time...

I have have been reading others comments that mirror our nightmare story with vonage...we have invested so much time and money into trying to work this out with them, it is like we are trapped...

Today alone we have been on hold for the majority of 1 1/2 hours and disconnected no less than 3 times and even had a cust serv rep tell us that the LPN Specialist, or escalation department, phones are separate than theres and that they dump calls when the system is overloaded.

We have names of all the people we have spoken to. And no one, not this afternoon or the other times actually calls you back when you have accidentally been disconnected while talking to you! So then you have to call back, sit on hold, get thru to someone finally who then puts you on hold and reads your account, then you explain, then they say they cant help you and want to transfer you and then you do it all over again with someone else or you get disconnected and then call again....

And on top of that every time we try to port it is cancelled and we are not contacted to help us remedy the situation. And then when we make contact it is the maze of being put on hold and transferred and people not knowing what is going on.

We have typed in our numbers at several different searches on the web (verizon and nextell to name a couple) and each time it says our numbers are portable.

We have paid for months of extra phone lines and have two boxes that we have paid for. What can we do to actually get for what we paid for...we want to speak to one person who can help us and follows up with us, who we can call back and chat with and check in with... there seems to be no other way... I fantasize about going to the Vonage office and sitting there, with someone from the media, until they either help me or call the police to take me away.

Is there any hope? Is there someone who can explain to us actually what is really going on with the different reasons it has not gone through?

I know this is a total vent but maybe one of you our there has an actual direct line for a competent person at Vonage (not that the folks aren't smart but where is the training and follow thru????)
