I did an installation using this exact router with 5.8 Ghz phones and all works together harmoniously. Any spurious and interfering harmonic that a 5.8 Ghz Low Power transmitter could produce would be WAY out of the 2.4 Ghz band so it, probably, can't be attributed to the phone.
Run a speedtest to determine if you are having a, transient, broadband issue and, when in doubt, reboot your modem, router and Vonage VOIP device.
