did you check first if vonage can transfer your number to the network? there are other reasons why your number can't be transferred, like there is no local exchange carrier in your location. do check and if it is transferrable, you need to set-up a stand-alone dsl with att, which they now offer, so that should free up your phone line for transfer without causing any interruptions or problems. if you do need to add additional wiring, you can call up tech support and check on the prices for professional install (and hope the fee can be waived). good luck!
