Not sure how you figure it is a higher paying plan. The CDN unlimited is $39.99 and the U.S is $24.99

If the world plan does come to Canada, I can see it being $39.99. I am paying $24.99 for the unlimited plan, I was paying the $39.99.

You only get charged for out going calls and since you have a cell phone you can use that for out going calling and not go over your 500 minutes.

look up the rates for sat phones also known as Emersat about $15 a minute!
