I called Vonage about this (and even brought another router) only to be told that SSID could not be disabled because the protocol was needed by the voip. Not sure if I believe that one ...

hmm. i had noticed that with my WRT54GP2. so it isnt just me...
i do the MAC Filtering.. i had to turn off the encryption stuff as it seemed to lose dhcp info for a few minutes a day with that.
