I also have a dlink 624. This is my setup....

cable modem --> linksys --> desktop plugged into link 1 on linksys --> dlink into link2 on linksys

dlink has dhcp = OFF mac filter and wep = ON
l ...

I fixed it by going in and turning off email notification, apply and exit

went back in and turned it on 10 min later apply and exit, it now works

I have this setup, but I get an email and NO attachment????

Any ideas?

I use gmail so I have plenty of space.

I just set up the linksys and it is good, I too have another router (wireless) it works fine with the 2 of them....

I left the default settings. What does everyone use for their qos settings???

Is it easy to assign the ip's as you stated? I have never done any of this before! Thanks for taking the time to detail your method!

I am not too familiar with setting up the ip's and all that fun stuff. I will try to do it both ways (if I can!!!) and post back what I found!

I would reccomend like this:

DSL Modem-->RT31P2-->Dlink

But different Config, just use the Dlink as a access point. The RT31P2 device has a built in 3 port 10/100 switch. I cant find if the 62 ...
