I see all this chat about prefixes for faxing, but how do you do it. I tried to type in *99 then the number on my fax machine number pad, but it doesn't get a dial tone.
Sorry if this seems stupid!
I have an HP Officejet6210 All-in-One. I can receive, but not send faxes. I even purchased a dedicated fax line to see if that would work. It did not.
I have ECM off.
I have the resolution on low.
