Actually auto answer is set to on. I was using the same setup with my normal phone line, but now with vonage, the HP fax never seems to try to pick up the line.
I have an HP 6110 connected to my Uniden Vonage phone. The HP Fax machine has ECM turned off and buad rate for receive set to 9600. I'm not using a splitter.
