A few other things to try:
1) Make sure firewall on motorola is turned of
2) disable DMZ on motorola
3) turn on UPnP on the motorola (this may work, if linksys router supports).

I would suggest completly turning NAT and DHCP off on the VT2442. Turn DHCP and NAT ON on the linksys. The VT2442 now esentially turns into an access point (i.e., a switch).

Does the linksys have ethernet ports? If so, why not just use the linksys as your router? You don't need routing functions on the VOIP box (the PAP 2, for example, has no routing functions).
