same issue here in eastern PA - no dialtone.
i have the vt1000, getting 4 blinks all day. Rebooting did not solve the problem.
I came here figuring it was a vonage network issue. |

My ISP had somehow mistakenly capped my connection to 64 Kbps upstream. That was the problem. They set it back to 1 Mbps and credited me for a month of internet service
