I agree it is a very odd policy. My unit shipped over Christmas and took about 2 weeks to get to me (not Vonage's fault). I sent them an email and they gave me a $5 credit so I'm happy.

I also had trouble with my vonage box outside my router. I only ran it that way for a couple of days but I found it needed about a reset a day. I settled for putting it behind my router for now.

My vonage box seems to "die" within a few hours when it's plugged in front of my router. Power cycling it (and my cable modem) fixes the problem but it seems to be temporary each time.
